Flanders faces a huge housing challenge. By 2040, due to demographic growth, 475,000 additional housing units will be needed. The Binding Social Objective frames that challenge within a clear social mission: 56,000 additional social housing units by 2042. At the same time, achieving the climate goals requires a large-scale renovation of the existing patrimony.

Skills

• You have sufficient experience to complete all tasks of the architectural profession independently, from design to completion. You know your own strengths and can name what you really excel at.
• You can independently lead meetings with various stakeholders.
• Experience with social housing construction is a plus.
• You are willing to help document and follow up on processes.
• You can mentor and empower colleagues.
